PESKO -- Audrey Laverne Pesko, 76, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007. Audrey was born July 30, 1930 the daughter of Lawrence and Julia Bakies Bily in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland. Audrey was a member of the Felician Sisters Auxiliary and the Meadowlark Senior Center. She loved to quilt, play canasta, bowl, and spend time with her family. Audrey was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Pesko. She is survived by four children, Lawrence Pesko of Rio Rancho, Bobette Pesko Pierse of Cleveland, OH, Paul Pesko of Richmond, VA, and Lisa Pesko Kirkwood of Sandwich, MA; nine grandchildren, Megan, Nicole, Jocelyn, and Meredith Horstemeier, Sara and John Pesko, Max, Ian, and Griffin Kirkwood; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Abby, and Elenore Pierse, Izaak and Ante Zurnich, and Jason and Bella Epperson. The Rosary for Audrey will be recited on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124 or to the Meadowlark Senior Center, 4330 Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
