MEDLEY -- Susan Margaret Medley, age 92, passed away in Denver, CO July 23, 2007. Sue was born in Hydro, OK February 19, 1915. She graduated Southwestern Teachers College in Weatherford, Ok with a degree in education and art studies in 1937. She married Eugene Lloyd Medley in 1940 who passed in 1947. In 1950 she moved to Farmington with her three children where she taught school, then in 1953 moved to Albuquerque and taught at Alvarado Elementary School until she retired in 1975. She helped form and actively participated in the Alvarado Follies. Sue was an accomplished artist, a member of ADK, Rebekahs, and Central Methodist Church. Sue was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Alfred and Effie Gregg; and six siblings. She is survived by a sister, Peggy Hanley; children, Kenneth Medley and his wife, Patricia of Albuquerque, NM, Todd Medley and his wife, Sydney of Sandy, UT, and Suzanne Roush and her husband, Ed of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Todd, Mark, Christopher, Carol, Sheri, Kenneth, Michele, and Brian; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Leah, Shannon, Payton, Caden, and Cameron. She will be buried beside her husband in Hobart, OK. A celebration of life will be later this fall. She will be greatly missed.
