BROWN -- Eileen Brown, 91, of Tamms, IL, formerly of Albuquerque, died at 9:35 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the home of her son in Tamms, IL. She was born on April 7, 1916 in Michigan City, IN to Starr Leroy and Gladys (Burnett) Gephardt. Eileen married Gene Brown in 1954 and he preceded her in death May 20, 2002. She was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Community. She is survived by 6 sons, Zephyre (Skip) Martin of Golconda, IL, Tex (Sue) Martin of Tamms, IL, Frank (Linda) Martin and Lyle (Gay) Brown, both of Albuquerque, Bob (Mary) Martin of Anna, IL; five daughters, Rosealie (James) Kimberlin, Karol Stamp and JoAllen Myers, all of Tamms, IL, Sandy (Paul) Eddings of Ullin, IL, and Betty Ann Gephardt of Michigan; Loris Daily of Rio Rancho; sons, Jim Brown of Virginia and Dale Brown; 71 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Derward Martin; a daughter, Lorraine Dagna; a granddaughter, Darlene Jennings; an infant granddaughter, Nancy Sue Myers; and a grandson, Francis Michael Coyne. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, August 6, 2007, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
