RYAN -- Martha L. Ryan, 96, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948 was called home to Eternity by our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband B.J. Ryan, son Larry P. Ryan and grand-daughters, Candis S. Ryan and Monica J. Vargas. She is survived by her son Bob and wife Pinky Ryan, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grand-daughter. Martha was born in Kendaville, Indiana, the youngest of five children. In 1930 she moved to Longmont, Colorado, where she met and married B.J. on December 14, 1934. After moving to Albuquerque they purchased and owned the La Fonda Trailer Court on North Fourth Street for 23 years. Martha was a big sports fan of all sports. Mom was an awesome cook, baker and candy maker. Visitations will be on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., with a Prayer Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. in the 8th Street Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Garcia Mortuary. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Martha will be carried to her final resting place by her grandchildren; Mike Ryan, Peanut Ryan, Phil Stowe, Marty Vargas, Ryan Vargas, and Aimee Thompson.
