COYNE -- Jennifer Anne Coyne, passed away on July 24, 2007 from a tragic accident while scuba diving near her home in Seattle, WA. Jennifer was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 16, 1982. A 2005 graduate of the School of Nursing at NMSU in Las Cruces, NM, Jennifer was a proud member of the Chi Omega Sorority. After moving to Seattle she worked at Harborview Hospital for 2 years on the trauma surgery floor. She recently started working in the Pediatric ICU at Children's Hospital. Loved by her patients, Jennifer was a compassionate, loving, and caring nurse. On her days off she volunteered by reading to the Oncology patients. Jennifer will be remembered by her family and friends as a truly amazing young woman. It would be hard to find a picture of her without her incredible smile. Living each day to the fullest, she brought joy to all those around her. She had such an impact on everyone she met. Jennifer was the pride and joy of her family and words can not express how much she will be missed. Jennifer is survived by her parents, Kevin Coyne and Julie Simonds; and step-parents, Janie Coyne and Burton Simonds; sisters, Kristin and Kasey; brothers, Kyle and Zackary; grandparents, Stan and Lorrie Church, and Ron Coyne; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held July 31, 2007 at the University Presbyterian Church, 4540 15th Ave. NE, Seattle, WA at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Jennifer's name to the Children's Hospital Foundation, PO Box 50020, Seattle, WA 98145.
