STEVENS -- Paul J. age 88, a resident of Albuquerque, died on July 5, 2007. He is survived by his wife Naomi Beverly Stevens, formerly of Brooklyn, NY; children Franchesca Stevens of Albuquerque, Dominique Stevens Bartholomew of Mill Valley, CA and Paul J. Jr. Stevens of Millbrae, CA; grandchildren Gretchen Naomi and Lars Waldine Moede of Albuquerque, and Amanda Scarlett Bartholomew of Mill Valley, CA. He was born on April 2, 1919 in Waukegan, IL, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. For most of his life he worked for the U. S. Postal Service in Houston and New York City and wrote and produced off-off Broadway plays in Houston and New York City. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie Cobb of Marietta, GA and his brother Franklyn of Bellingham, WA. Military services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. He will be greatly missed and best remembered for his keen sense of humor and love of art, literature, theater, gardening and his two dogs Fiona and Scout.
