HERRERA -- Tobias (Toby) Herrera, 42, with his family by his side, Toby went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Toby was born January 31, 1965, the son of Manuel and Viola Avila Herrera in Espanola, New Mexico. Toby always had a smile on his face and was always a giving, caring, and loving man. All the children loved him and they always called him "Uncle Toby". He loved music, especially Elvis and The Beatles and was always singing. Most of all, Toby loved his family and was always willing to help in any way he could. He will be missed by all of us. We love him very much even as he has gone to be with our Lord. Toby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juan and Elvira Avila; and grandmother, Antonia Herrera. He is survived by his parents, Manuel and Viola Herrera of Rio Rancho; brothers and sisters, Patricia Herrera and fiance, Luciano of Rio Rancho, Manuel Jr. of California, Gloria Chapman and husband, Charles of California, and Robert and wife, Sharon of Texas; grandfather, Cornelio Herrera of Nambe; nieces and nephews, Eric, Michelle, Jason, Nicole, Jeremy, Charlie, Brandon, Ryan, Courtney, and Deanna; aunts and uncles; and many cousins and friends. The Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with the Rosary being held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation followed by interment at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
