SOSSAMON -- Frances (Fran) Marie Sossamon, 70, went home to be with Jesus on Monday morning, May 21, 2007. Frances was born to Marie and Robert Williams on October 30, 1936 in Denver, CO. She married the love of her life, Donald Sossamon, on September 8, 1956. Her devoted and loving husband, preceded her in death on January 29, 1989. Frances is survived by her daughters, Pamela Stern and husband, Dave of Albuquerque, NM, Donna Vilandry and husband, Bob of Clovis, NM; grandchildren, Christina Phillips, Nicole Walker and husband, Steven, Sean Vilandry, and Sarah Vilandry; great-grandchildren, Alexis Stern, Stevie Phillips, Elyssa Walker, and Brooke Walker; sisters, Katherine Smith and husband, Ernest, and Roberta Glasgow and husband, Dave. Frances was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She kept the record of fellowship, was active in Good Shepherd, 50 plus singles group, and helped wherever she was needed. Services will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 300 Gold Ave. SE, with Pastor Randy Walquist officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. We thank God for the love of our mother.
