MCTIGHE -- Sue McTighe, 64, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2007 after a brave battle with lung disease. Sue was born May 24, 1942 in Queens, NY. She spent much of her life on the family farm in Windsor, MA. She later moved to New Mexico to be with her sister, and also spent many years with her dear friends. Sue enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and was a precious friend to everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Brown; brother, Robert Schmidt; grandmother, Lillian Leya; aunt, Margaret Brown; sister, Doris Giles; and brother, Richard Schmidt. Sue is survived by her brother-in-law, Reginald Giles; niece, Margaret Giese and husband, Chris; nephew, Reggie Giles; all of Rio Rancho; sister-in-law, Joy Schmidt; nephew, Andrew Schmidt and wife, Trish; niece, Kristie Schmidt; cousins, Bruce Belason and wife, Ann, Linda Belason, Judy Greene and husband, Ron, and George Brown, all of Massachusetts; and cousin, Scott Brown and wife, Debbie of Albuquerque. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2007, her birthday, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho.
