HUGHES -- Geraldine Jacobs Hughes, 87-1/2. Her angelic spirit left her body on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. She loved gardening, going to church, singing, dancing, talking and watching KGGM TV. Aunt Gerry is happy in the Lord with her great-nephew, Jimmy; her great-niece, Jamie; her sister, Betty; her husband, Farley; her father, "Jake"; and her loving mother, Katherine Leah Leatherman Jacobs. The residents and staff at Rio Rancho Nursing Home will miss her lively presence.
