GARCIA -- Anthony Garcia, 94, died peacefully on Thursday, April 26, 2007. Anthony was born in Las Vegas, NM to Fidelia Roibal Garcia and Jose Isidro Garcia. He was their last surviving child. Mr. Garcia is survived by his son, Anthony Garcia and wife, Ann; his daughter, Annette Martin and husband, George; five grandchildren, Mark Alires and wife, Anna, Martin Alires, Michelle Parshall and husband, Jon, Jim Garcia and wife, Christine, and Jon Garcia; five great-grandchildren, Megan, Sarah, Carolyn, Christopher, and Andrew; one great-great-grandson, Julien; as well as many other family members. Anthony was employed for many years as a draftsman with various government agencies and architectural firms. He was a man of many talents, playing the mandolin for 21 years with two senior choral groups, was a skilled artist and had a passion for classical music as well. The Rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 29, 2007, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 30, 2007, 12:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Parish, 5310 Claremont NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barrett House, 10300 Constitution NE, 87111.
