KUROWSKI -- Keith James Kurowski, 50, passed away on April 17, 2007 from complications of diabetes. He was born in Albuquerque on September 27, 1956 and is survived by his parents: Carol and Stanley Kurowski; brothers: Brian and wife, Scotia; Eric and wife, Jodi; sister: Kathi Billman; nieces: Ellyn, Cassidy and Rylee Kurowski; and his loving canine companion, "Lazy." Before his disability, he had many skills in carpentry, landscape designing, rock masonry and construction work. He worked for many years for PGI and most recently for Azar Distributing. Keith served as a volunteer with Special Olympics, the Homeless and Road Runner Food Bank. Cremation has taken place and a Life Celebration Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Cutler and Washington NE). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Special Olympics, 6600 Palomas NE 87109.
