SUTTIE -- Joseph Lloyd Suttie, 86, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 17, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of the family home; his sons, Joseph Lloyd Suttie and wife, Carol; David Suttie and wife, Ruby; John Suttie and wife, Karla; and his daughters, Becky Sebring, Debbie Suttie and Pamela Ray. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Suttie served his country with distinction in WWII where he was awarded two Bronze Stars. J. Lloyd was a State Farm insurance agent from 1954 until 1979, and co-founded the Suttie Insurance Agency in 1981. He was active in Jail Ministry and taught Speech at the Youth Diagnostic Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albuquerque Rescue Mission, 525 2nd St. SW, Albuquerque, 87102.
