COOK -- Chad J. Cook entered into rest with his Lord on Sunday night, April 15, 2007 after a tragic motorcycle accident. He was 28 years old, a husband, and father of three children. Nothing was more important to Chad than his family. Those whose life he touched were able to experience his tender heart, his sweet smile and warm laugh, and his total giving of himself for helping others. He loved life and had many passions, which included being around the people he loved most, having fun and cooking for BBQs, playing softball, helping on his son's baseball team, golf, playing in a pool league, and riding his new motorcycle. He loved to spend quality time with his cousins and his friends. He was loved by many and he will be missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Caron E. Cook; his three children, Brendon (7), Breanne (3), and Brylen (18 months); his mother, Ginger Cook; his father, Richard Cook and wife, Cindy; his only sister, Therese Gonzales and husband, Matt; his grandmother, Mary Parkes; his grandfather, Pleas Cook and wife, Lillian. Chad is also survived by three nieces and one nephew; his mother- and father-in-law; sisters- and brother-in-law; many aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry L. Parkes. A memorial fund has been opened in Chad's memory at Compass Bank in Rio Rancho. A Rosary Service will be held Thursday, April 19, 2007 at French Mortuary University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, at 7:00 p.m., friends and family may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. also at the University Chapel.
