ROMERO -- Charles A. Romero, age 56, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 with his loving family at his bedside. Our devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend was an accomplished musician. His music and laughter will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles A. Romero Jr.; his parents, Demecio and Adela Romero; his brothers, Max and Andrew Romero. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; his daughter, Tammy Romero and partner, Brian Chavez; his son, Mark Romero; grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter Romero and Faustino and Martina Rodriguez; brothers, Gerald Romero and wife, Glenna, Joe Romero and wife, Josie; sisters, Dora Sisneros, Ida Romero and husband, Joseph; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover Ave. SW. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery on Menaul and Edith NE. Pallbearers will be Mark Romero, Brian Chavez, Ernie Gallegos, Gerald Romero, Oliver Lujan, Nicey Lujan, Phillip Sanchez, and Sammy Pineda. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter Romero and Faustino and Martina Rodriguez. Special thanks to Vista Care Hospice's doctors, nurses and staff, to Deacon Jim Delgado, Oliver Lujan, Gerald Romero and E.G.
