PADILLA -- Elisia (Elsie) Padilla, 80 years of age, went to celebrate with our Lord on April 6, 2007 at 3:00 a.m. She was born in Marquez, NM, raised in Los Lunas, NM and then married and became a life long resident of Jarales, NM. Elsie was preceded in death by her eldest son Trinidad (Bobby) R. Padilla and her brother Daniel Jaramillo. Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Florian Padilla, her four children and nine grandchildren. Daughter, Elia Sanchez and her husband, Roland and their 6 children, Jessica, Alicia, Adolfo, Roland II (Scooter), Florian and Emilio Sanchez; daughter, Lillian Poelker and her husband, David and their daughter, Christina Poelker; son, Richard Padilla; and son, Eugenio (Gene) Padilla and his wife, Martina and their two children, Eugenio II and Samantha Padilla. Elsie is also survived by her brother, Toby Jaramillo, sister's Sophie Benavidez, Monica Beck and Margaret Gutierrez; a daughter-in-law, Linda Mitchell; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. All religious services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning with a viewing to be held on Sunday April 8, at 5:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Monday, April 9,2007 at 8:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. with Father Stephen Schultz presiding.
