TAPIA -- George Salamon Tapia passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007 in Albuquerque at the age of 48. He was preceded in death by his father, Federico Tapia; brothers, Cayetano, Faustin, and Steve Tapia; and sister, Lucy DeSoto. George is survived by his mother, Lugarda Tapia; wife, Carol Tapia; sons, George Gutierrez and wife, Kimberly, and Santiago Gutierrez and wife, Melissa; brothers, Eutemio Tapia and wife, Nora, Fred Tapia and wife, Louberta, and Joseph Tapia; sisters, Stella Gonzales, Connie Cardenas and husband, Adan, and Beth Aragon and husband, John. He is also survived by five grandchildren. A Rosary for Mr. Tapia will be recited on Wednesday evening, March 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Legacy Church at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Cardenas, Angel Vargas, John Aragon, Wilfred Gonzales, Felix Silva, and Joe Gutierrez.
