GARCIA -- Benny Garcia Tapia went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2007. Benny was born in Albuquerque, NM and raised in the Wells Park Community. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Tapia and Benny is survived by his mother, Cruzita Tapia and father, Tomas Whiting; brothers, Tommy Campbell, Frank Garcia and Raymond Whiting; sister, Berna Tapia; sister-in-law, Maxine; sister, Virginia Gutierrez and husband, Robert Gutierrez, however, Robert passed away with Benny on March 13, 2007; nieces, Felicia, Cruzita, and Adrianna; nephews, Carlitos, Ryan, C.J. and R.J.; cousins, Brandy and Lorenzo Jaramillo and children, Lorenzo and Antoinio, Felicia Romero and children, Carlos, Danielle and Isaac Campbell, Mary Reyna and daughter, Natasha; grandma and grandpa, Tapia and grandma and grandpa, Campbell; a very special girl, Jaime Baca; and numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, and many friends who loved and will miss him. We will miss you very much and will be missed in our hearts now and forever. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. NW. A Rosary will be recited Monday, March 19, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy, Frank, Lorenzo, Anthony, Randall, and Isaac. Honorary pallbearers will be Lorenzo and Antonio. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW, ABQ. 505-343-8008
