LEVERETT -- Susan Leverett, 92, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007. She was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, a graduate of Albuquerque High and attended the University of New Mexico. Susan was an active sister of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Mrs Leverett was very involved with the Corps of Engineers Wives Club, loved to play golf and most of all adored her family. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lt. Col. William J. Leverett Jr., U.S. Army, Ret.; daughter, Sheila F Leverett; granddaughter, Sheli Hinds-Armstrong and husband, Benjamin J. Armstrong; grandson, Patrick F.L. Hinds and wife, Tyler Stone; and precious great-granddaughter, Addison. Mrs. Leverett was preceded in death by her parents, John Elmer and Irene Fullerton and her uncle, Justin D LaFont. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
