ZACCONE -- LOUIS Reverend Louis Zaccone, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at his home. He was born December 27, 1926 in Jersey City, NJ, a son of Samuel and Elizabeth Zaccone. He married Frances Caraccillo, May 1, 1948 in Jersey City. Reverend Zaccone was a great Church Pioneer and Builder with five existing churches in operation today. He was a great visionary which included Christian Education and bus ministries. He had a great heart for the Spanish people of New Mexico. His main focus and heart were with the youth and children for whom he had great vision and hope for their future. From his work there are many Pastors, Principals, Teachers and full-time Christian workers now engaged in Christ's work. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Zaccone, Albuquerque; two brothers and two sisters: Pat Zaccone, Marie Scafuri, Sam Zaccone, Rosalie Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, March 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church, 3021 Todos Santos NW, Albuquerque. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Church Christian Academy Scholarship Fund at the address listed above.
