SCHER -- ANNA LEILA "Lee" (nee Harneck/Duley) Lee passed away peacefully, with loving family present, on February 10, 2007, in Kaukauna, WI, where she lived since 2001. She is survived by her husband, Sam; sons, Jerry (Jo Ann) Duley and Rick (Patt) Duley; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Janine, Michele, and Joseph; and her great-grandchildren, Jack, Mason, Zachary, Caitlin, and Kiersten. Lee was a nurse her entire life - from serving on a medical ship off Normandy Beach on D-Day to being a pioneer in the Aerospace Nursing Program to teaching students the various disciplines at Ohio State and Capital University and then retiring with Professor Emeritus status. Lee and her husband, Sam, spent many happy retirement years living in New Mexico and traveling the state, and especially enjoyed being with their many friends at Bear Canyon Senior Center.
