REED -- Aileen L. Reed, 88, longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 25, 2007. She is survived by her three daughters, Maureen Fuentes, Janie Gottschalk and husband, Rick of Idaho, and Mona Elliott and husband, Bill; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mona St. Germain of Washington; as well as numerous friends and neighbors. Aileen was born and raised in Circle, MT and then moved to Billings, MT where she was a busy home maker. She loved baking pies, ironing, bowling, and shopping. While studying at the beauty college, she met Bob Reed and followed him around the United States during WWII. She raised three daughters in Billings before she moved to Lewiston, ID where she worked as a nursing assistant with her sister Mona. After retiring to Albuquerque, she was a devoted gardener, grandmother and great-grandmother. Cremation has taken place with an open house honoring Aileen's life to be held Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 7508 Scotts Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
