PADILLA -- Gloria Padilla, age 44, beloved daughter and sister, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Gloria was born in San Gabriel, CA, and was a resident of Rio Rancho. She was a very special person who enjoyed all of life's moments. Gloria is survived by her loving parents, Benny and Catarina Padilla; her brothers, Robert Padilla, Benny Padilla Jr. and wife, Maggie, and Herman Padilla and wife, Patricia; and her sister, Anna Cooper and husband, Chris; and numerous other beloved family members and friends. Gloria will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. The Padilla family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Staff of the Rio Rancho Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, for the special care given to Gloria. A Rosary will be recited this evening (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services Alameda Mortuary. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benny Padilla Jr., Chris Cooper, Herman Padilla, Robert Padilla, David Padilla, and Keith Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Diana Hall and Fred Sanchez.
