LOPEZ -- NEMECIO P. Mr. Nemecio P. Lopez, 92, born in San Marcial, NM and a resident of Socorro, NM passed away on January 7, 2007, peacefully at home with his loving family by his side and is now in heaven with our Lord. Mr. Lopez is survived by his children, Felix Lopez and wife, Olivia, Charlie Lopez and wife, Reyes, Demecio Lopez and wife, Ramona, Lola Lucero and husband, Manuel, Lucy Lopez, Benita DeLeon and husband, Tony, Ernest Lopez and wife, Kathy, Louie Lopez and wife, Debbie and Terry Ann Lopez; two sisters, Juanita Gonzales and Maria Romero; one brother, Alex P. Lopez and wife, Telles; 29 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Lopez was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rickie Saiz, Charlie Lopez, Abie Lopez, Ray Lopez, Tommy Lopez and Leonard Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabriel Lopez, Roland Saiz and Richard Lopez.
