MONTOYA -- REBECCA CARMILITA Mrs. Rebecca Carmilita Montoya, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, originally from Cuba, NM, passed away on December 30, 2006, at home with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Montoya is survived by ten children, Mary Ann Chavez and husband, Dennis, Mildred Giannini and husband, Charles, Agnes Coffelt and husband, Robert (deceased), Fermin Montoya and fiancee, JoAnna, Theresa Garcia and husband, Joe, Elsie McClelland and husband, Kenny, Francis Montoya and wife, Nancy, Elizabeth Lucero and husband, John, John Montoya and wife, JoAnn and James Montoya; one sister, Dora Gallegos; 39 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Montoya was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Sotero Montoya; her son, Joseph A. Montoya; her grandson, Jonathan T. Montoya; her parents, Eudoro and Genoveva Montoya; sisters, Alice Gurule and Anna Montoya. Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2006 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Vincent DeFazio, presider. A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Dennis Chavez Jr., Paul Giannini, Mario Garcia, Charles Giannini Jr., Alex Stines and Jesus Lucero.
