HOLMES -- Richard R. Holmes Sr., 76, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, December 29, 2006. Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather. He went peacefully with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eva; two sons, Richard R. Holmes, Jr. and Jaime A. Holmes; two grandchildren, Jaime M. Holmes and Christina R. Holmes; sister, Bertha King of Kansas; brother, Arthur Holmes of Minnesota; niece, Linda Coty of Colorado; a very special niece, Jeannette Rodgers and her family; and longtime friends, the James Davis family. Richard will be deeply missed for his kindness and loving care of his family and friends. He retired from his business, Electric Service Inc. Richard will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, and his expertise at his job. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
