WILLIAMS -- William Francis Williams, better known as "Bus", was the first of six children born to William Arthur Williams and Emma Jane (Sorrels) Williams on January 27, 1916, in Murphysboro, Illinois. In 1936 he married Marjorie Helen Young and throughout most of their married lives they have been in Christian ministry throughout the U.S. and Canada. They have been residents of Albuquerque since 1971. He leaves behind a host of family and friends. Bus went to be with Jesus on December 16, 2006, leaving behind his dear wife, Marjorie, a daughter, Karen Sue and Bob Leahey, of Albuquerque, and a son, Gerald L. (Jerry) and Judy Williams of Colorado Springs, CO, and a daughter-in-law Ann Williams of Murphysboro, IL. Bus was preceded in death by his oldest son, William Arthur (Bud) Williams in 2003. He leaves behind seven grandchildren: Michael and Beth Williams of Pleasanton, CA. Katherine and Brian Bushong of Wheaton, IL, Lisa and Terry Rogers of Carlsbad, NM, Steven and Antoinette Raines of Albuquerque, Robyn and Todd Hyden of Carlsbad, NM, Shari and Christian Schwarz of Ft. Collins, CO, and Mindi and Samuel Jennings of Colorado Springs, CO. A grandson, James A. (Jimmy) Raines, preceded him in death. In addition there are fourteen great grandchildren: Christopher, Daniel and Jessica Williams of Freemont, CA; Eleanor, Sophia, Eva and Isabella Bushong of Wheaton, IL; Stephanie, Kathleen Raines and Chris Torres all of Albuquerque; Cassaundra and Tyler Hyden of Carlsbad, NM; and Joshua, Zachary and Evan Schwarz of Ft. Collins, CO; and one great-great granddaughter, Tanessa Torres of Albuquerque; there are also many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may visit on Friday, December 22, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Services will be Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 11:00 am at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made for the spouse (Marjorie Williams) in care of New Covenant Church, 7201 Paseo Del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
