DOWLING -- Jane Dowling, a former resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2006 at a local care facility. Jane is survived by her daughter, Shaun Pennington and husband, Walter Bostwick of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; son, Robert Pennington and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jason Reiff of New York City, Aaron Reiff and wife Jessica of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Ryan Pennington of Albuquerque, and Monica Pennington of Albuquerque; and one great-grandchild, Beckett Harrison Reiff of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Jane was born in Binghamton, New York in 1925, where she lived for over 35 years. She then moved to New Jersey and retired to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. She was well known for her great sense of humor and would always keep you laughing. Jane was an avid swimmer for 80 years of her life and was happiest in the water. She passed the legacy of the Caribbean lifestyle to her children and grandchildren.
