MADRID -- Toni "Tonya" Austin Madrid went into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 28, 2006. Toni was a creative fun-loving person and brought endless joy to everyone whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Anaya Madrid; sons: Andrew Joe and Herman; daughter: Edith and her siblings: Andrea Vasquez, Mary Aragon, Lillian Aragon, Grace Avila, Amelia Casados, James Austin, and Isidro Austin. Mrs. Madrid is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth Martinez and husband, Phil; Ellen Barnard; brother: Fred Austin; four grandchildren: Phyllis Martinez, Gary Barnard, Linda Barnard and Mike Barnard; five great-grandchildren; and two extended-family grandchildren. A Rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. with a Life Celebration Mass on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. - - both at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE.
