LEACH -- Frederick David Leach, 67, of Albuquerque, went into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Fred was born in Brockton, MA. While enlisted in the U.S. Navy, he came home and married his spirited wife, Bobbie. During their 44 years of marriage they shared their love of fishing, camping, music, and a great sense of humor with their family. Some of Fred's greatest passions in life were drumming for Jazz a la Carte, and the Optimist Club of Albuquerque where he served as Govenor of the New Mexico, West Texas district. Along with his wife, Bobbie, Fred is survived by his daughters: Cathleen Valencia and husband, Christopher of Albuquerque, Sheryl White of Mobile, AL, Nancy Brown and husband, Scott of Fort Wayne, IN; as well as grandchildren, Lee, Jessi, Desiree, Bryan, Jayden, and Katrina. He is also survived by his sisters, Jane Frankenfield of Albuquerque, Betty Martini and husband, Ralph of Mackay, ID; and brother, Leslie Leach of Farmington, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, F. Clayton and Olive Leach. Fred leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and joy. A life celebration Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2006 at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Optimist Club of Albuquerque Foundation, PO Box 7658, Albuquerque, NM 87194.
