DOMINGUEZ -- George Dominguez, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his Bernalillo, NM, home on Saturday, November 18, 2006. The choirs of angels and saints escorted him home to rest with our Heavenly Father after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Esequiel Dominguez; his brothers: Donald Dominguez and Robert Maestas; his paternal grandparents: Adeliado and Beatriz Dominguez; his maternal grandparents: Aparcio and Maclovia Lovato; his mother-in-law, Fita Lovato and tio-suegro, Crespin Lovato; his brother-in-law: Joseph Montoya. George is survived by his loving wife: Adela of 42 years; daughter: Denise Henry and son-in-law, Mike; daughter: Debbie Montano and son-in-law, Nathan of Rio Rancho; daughter: Annette Dominguez and son-in-law, Jimmy Sandoval; daughter: Lynette Dominguez of Bernalillo; beloved grandchildren: Jonathan Chavez, Eric Martinez, Lorenzo and Aaron Garcia, James and Melanie Sandoval, Devin and Zachary Henry; great-grandson: Andrew Lorenzo Garcia; and mother, Margaret Archuleta . He also is survived by his mother: Gregorita Dominguez; father-in-law: Joe Montoya; brother and wife: Harold and Patricia Dominguez; brother: Larry Dominguez; Bernalillo; sister and husband: Adelita and Raymond Garduno; sister and husband: Rita Roybal and Gilbert; Albuquerque, sister and husband: Lorraine Stubblefield and Gary; sister and husband: Mary Sisneros and Larry; Rio Rancho; sister-in-laws: Doris Dominguez; Lorraine Maestas; Albuquerque, sister-in-law and husband: Sally and Tony Baros; brothers-in-law: Martin Montoya and Chris Lovato; sister-in-law: Dolores Montoya; Bernalillo; sister-in-law and husband: Julia and Elias Archibeque; Algodones; sister-in-law and husband: Emma and David Townsend; West Virginia; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends. George worked 31 years at the Kirtland Air Force Base Commissary as a meat cutter. George was a caring husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, friend, and will be missed greatly. A Rosary is scheduled to be recited on November 24, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. The Mass of Resurrection will be on November 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
