ROYBAL -- Pete Roybal, 70 years old, a resident of Rio Rancho since 2002, dies Wednesday, November 15, 2006, following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jessie, of the family home; children, David, and wife Charlene, Lydia, and fiance Pete, all of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Sasha, Donovan, Andi, Julian, Gabriel, and Joshua; great-granddaughter Izzabella. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers. A life long Catholic, he was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2006, at French Mortuary Westside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, N.M., cremation to follow.
