HAY -- Ollie Hay, 83, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Sunday, November 5, 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Kowell and husband, Tom of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Aimee Kowell of Las Cruces, Joel Kowell of Phoenix, AZ, and Tiffany Kowell of Las Cruces; three sisters, Rosie Comyford of Edgewood, Dot White and Vera Brady, both of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hay was preceded in death by her husband, Art Hay; parents, Charlie and Hulda Gaylord; and brother, Alfred Gaylord. Ollie grew up on a farm in Northern New Mexico. She owned and operated mobile home and car dealerships with her husband prior to his death. Mrs. Hay worked as a church secretary, retiring from Immanuel Presbyterian. In her later years, she was a resident of Las Colinas Village. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Friday, November 10, 2006, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel.
