MILLER -- Wanda Anne Davis, 94, died on Thursday, November 2, 2006, in Albuquerque, NM. Loving wife of the late Eugene E. Miller, Anne died while in hospice. Anne moved to Albuquerque with her husband in 1984 to be near her daughter, Nancy M. Shea. Mr. Miller died in 1987. Prior to moving to Albuquerque, the Millers resided in Salem, MA for six years. Before that they lived in Rochester and Buffalo, NY, where Mr. Miller worked as a steel plant manager and in sales. Besides her daughter, Nancy, an executive administrator with ARES Corp., Anne leaves behind another daughter, Susan M. Burke of Miami; a grandson, Christopher B. Burke also of Miami, Fla. and a son-in-law, George E. Shea, a teacher at La Cueva High School. A woman of great taste and accomplishment, Anne dedicated herself to her children's welfare and education, teaching them appreciation for classical music, the fine arts, knitting, needlepoint, gourmet cooking and the importance of lifelong learning. All friends are welcome to a reception to honor Anne at the home of George and Nancy Shea over Thanksgiving weekend. A private burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem, MA.
