LOPEZ -- Lorraine A. Lopez, age 56, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was called to her heavenly home, Sunday, November 5, 2006. She was lifetime resident of Albuquerque; and a member of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Esmeralda Lucero; brothers, Nick Garcia, Charlie Lucero, and Claude Lucero. Lorraine is survived by her loving daughter, Melissa Garcia; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Miranda Chavez; her brother, Leonard Garcia; sisters, Peggy Garcia and fiance, Baz Chappell, Dorothy Gomez and fiance, Andrew Baca, and Hope Myers. Also surviving are her uncles, Leroy Lucero and wife, Chris, Toby Lucero and wife, Edna; aunts, Binnie Martinez, and Jean Lovato; many nieces, nephews; and other beloved family members and friends. Lorraine will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Visitations will be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited for Lorraine Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 9:00 a.m. also at the church. Pallbearers will be Baz Chappell, Andrew Baca, Jude Castneda, Leonard Garcia, Ricardo Gomez, Abel Lovato. Honorary bearers will be Louie Chavez and Nicholas Chavez.
