SCHNEPPER -- Diane Schnepper, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 15, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Leroy Schnepper; three children, Debra Neal and Sue Perea, both of Albuquerque and Scott Schnepper and wife, Kim of Rio Rancho, NM; seven grandchildren, Darlene Mora and husband, Jason, Jason Gonzales, Cody Neal, Suzanne Perea, Jaimee Perea, Evelynn Schnepper, and Theodore Schnepper; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Mora, Jocelyn Mora, and Elijah Mora; sister, Sondra Neal of Clovis, NM; and other relatives and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Elsie Allen of Clovis, NM. She was born on November 10, 1935 in Clovis, NM and graduated from Clovis High School in 1953. Diane met Leroy Schnepper while he was stationed at Clovis Air Force Base and they were married on March 6, 1954. They lived 3 1/2 years in Lansing, MI before returning to New Mexico where she lived the rest of her life. She worked for Albuquerque Public Schools for 35 years with the last fifteen years at Valley High School where she was the office manager. Diane was an avid bridge player and played regularly at the Duke City Bridge Club, and was a Life Master. She also enjoyed traveling extensively with Leroy, attempting to go around the world. Her dogs were a special love of hers. Diane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Wednesday, October 18, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Bader officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual NE. Pallbearers will be Jason Mora, Jason Gonzales, Benjamin Perea, Anthony Gonzales, Theodore Schnepper, and Gary Vicks. Honorary pallbearer will be Chief Raymond Schultz. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Humane Assoc. of NM, Inc., 615 Virginia SE, 87108, in Diane's name.
