HUNT -- Donald W. Hunt, a resident of Edgewood for the past 27 years and born on December 17, 1936, left to be with his Lord on October 4, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Sarah Hunt and his brother, Douglas Hunt, all of Arkansas. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Alene; his children, Michael Zadel of Colorado, Gerikay Sanchez and husband, Carl, Joseph Zadel and wife, Lisa, Juli Hagerty and husband, Richard, Marlea Zadel, all of New Mexico; Donald Hunt Jr. and wife, Linda, of California; 11 loving grandchildren; brother, Harold Hunt and wife, Joella, of California; sisters, Wanda Watkins and husband, Linden, and Pam Langston of Arkansas. He retired in 2004 after 21 years of dedicated service as owner/operator of Lee's Auto Service. He was a member of American Legion Post 49, Elks Club, and Over the Hill Gang Street Rodders Club. Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Edgewood, NM on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial & Honor Program.
