BAERST -- Frank E. Baerst, age 93, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at a local care facility. He was born May 23, 1913 in Brooklyn, NY. He married Margaret C. Coughlan on April 23, 1938 in Farmingdale, NY. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret C.; his daughters, Janet Liotta and husband, Tony, of Farmingdale, NY, Peggy McClure and husband, Bruce, of Albuquerque, Eileen Sudela and husband, Bob, of Randolph, NJ, and Susan Baerst of Houston, TX; his son, Carl Baerst and his wife, Suzie, of Phoenix, AZ; and daughter-in-law, Allison Faircloth Brown of Boston, MA; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Baerst was preceded in death by his son, John Stephen Baerst on April 23, 2006. He was a supervisor of Grumman Aircraft Corporation, retiring in 1973 after 34 years of service. Mr. Baerst served his country on the USS Constitution during the 1930s. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 6, 2006, 9:00 a.m., at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church 9502 4th Street NW.
