Often referred to as a "man's man", a "true cowboy" and "the last of a dying breed", Clarence spent the last weekend of his life watching a live Major League Baseball game with his family during a trip to Colorado. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he enjoyed spoiling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias G. and Anita Sanchez; sister; Rita; and beloved uncle and aunt, Emilio and Eloisa Herrera. He is survived by his brother, Alex D. Sanchez of Corrales; nephew, Marcos Sanchez and family; and niece, Anita Sanchez of California; Cathy Sanchez of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Desiree A. Martinez of Chama, husband, Earl J., and their children, Amber, Joseph, and Ezekiel; step-son, Alex Pearson of Albuquerque, wife, Sharon, and their children, Alex, Santiago, and Christopher; as well as many close friends and buddies. 'Grandpa Clarence' we love you very much, you will be greatly missed by us all.
