BLACKBURN -- Henry Blackburn, 40, a resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Great Falls, MT, passed away on September 22, 2006 while enjoying one of his favorite pastimes, motorcycle riding in the Sandia Mountains. He is survived by his mother and father; two sisters, Laura Blackburn and Cathy Johnson; brother-in-law, Karl Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, who have welcomed him home with open arms. He was born on May 29, 1966 to H. Henry and Elizabeth I. (Fox) Blackburn in Alliance, OH. He grew up in New Bedford, MA, Phoenix, AZ, and Albuquerque, NM. As an adult, he entered the United States Air Force and spent eight years proudly serving his country. He developed the skill of equipment calibration which he continued to use in his civilian career. However, Henry (Hank) will be remembered most for his passion for computer gaming, his love of motorcycle riding, his quick wit, and his wonderful, quirky smile. He will be dearly missed. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2006, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A gathering of friends may visit at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Thursday, September 28, 2006, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A reception will be held directly after the Memorial Services on Friday, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary.
