STRADER -- John C. Strader, 91, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2006. He was born in Lela, OK and moved to Albuquerque in 1949. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. John is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Frances Strader; sons, DeWayne and wife, Kathleen and Daryl and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Dana (Dan) Pfingsten, Jolene (Davison) Gault, Brian, Eric (Kelli), Todd, Derek (Jessica), John (Berenice), Brandon (Jessica) Buckner, Krissy Buckner; great-grandchildren Garrett Greer, Andrew and Christopher Guidi, Ivan, Cordney, Ethan and Donovan Strader, Bradley Fussell, Ty, Daxton, Devon, and Cassandra Strader. John retired from Big 3 Welding & Supply Co. in 1981 as General Manager. He was an avid RVer with the Manzanita Sam and Siglo de Oro RV Clubs. He was a dedicated servant of the Lord and a charter member and deacon at Del Norte Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, September 24, 2006, 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. Services will be Monday, September 25, 2006, 1:00 p.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd., NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE.
