HINDS -- Billie E. Hinds, 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006. She is survived by her loving son, Shawn Hinds and wife, Janice of Albuquerque; her beloved grandchildren, Danielle Gutierrez and husband, Lawrence and Aaron Hinds, all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Shea Rose and Lucas Gutierrez; sister, Lena Mae Kuchan and husband, Lee; brother, Russ Rogers; and numerous nieces, nephews; and grand-nieces and -nephews. Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ancel Hinds; and parents, William and Lena Rogers; sister, Faye DeBault; and brother, Neil Rogers. She was born in Pearsall, TX on Wednesday, October 18, 1916. Billie grew up in Craig, CO, and Maxwell, NM, where she met Ancel and later married on October 5, 1940 in Raton, NM. Billie worked for many years for Dr. Tedrick and Dr. Hoermann in Albuquerque. Her one true passion was caring for her family. Billie is loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2006, 10:30 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Entombment will follow services.
