ALIRE -- David Lloyd Alire, 48, a resident of San Francisco, California, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2006, after an extended Illness. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albino and Anita Gomez, Abram and Antima Alire; uncle, Baldino Gomez. He is survived by his parents, David Amos and Juanita Gomez Alire; sisters, Renee Pena and husband, Luis, of Servilleta, Angela Pena, of Albuquerque, Lori Lynn Gutierrez and husband, Don of Albuquerque; brothers, Rick Alire and wife, Faylene of Albuquerque, Kenny Alire and wife, Yvonne, also of Albuquerque; many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 8:15 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of in the DeVargas Funeral Home with Rosary to follow at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Gonzago Catholic Church in Las Tablas. Burial to follow at the Las Tablas Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Kenny J. Alire, David Apodaca, Eric Archuleta, Luis Pena Jr., Randy Vigil, Yolanda Gomez, and Steve Leal. Honorary pallbearers, Jeremy Alire, Ricky Alire, Monica Pena, Antima Pena, Valerie Alire, Alexis Alire, Andrew Gutierrez, and Isaah Gutierrez.
