PETRAMALA -- John S., 89, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2006. Formerly of Chicago, ILL, he had been a resident of New Mexico for over 20 years. Mr. Petramala proudly served his country during WWII, in the African and the European Theatre. He is survived by his loving family; sons, Thomas M. (Pamela) Petramala and John W. (Sherri) Petramala, daughters; Concetta (Al) Weigel and Teresa (Thomas) Waite, and six grandchildren; Michael, Matthew, Anthony, Sherri Lynn, Sarah and Allison. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, in Rio Rancho, NM. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Evergreen Park, Ill.
