MCDERMOTT -- Lisa Rhodes McDermott went to be with her Savior on August 29, 2006 after a long battle with leukemia. Lisa was raised in Albuquerque and loved life. She loved scrapbooking, making cards, spending time with friends and family, and attending church. She is survived by one daughter, Taylor Paige McDermott; parents, Jesse and Julie Rhodes; sister, Gayle Renshaw and husband, Ronnie; nieces, Meghan and Brooke Renshaw, of Albuquerque; sister, Renee Douglas and husband, Brian of Illinois; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Service will take place on Friday, September 1, 2006 at Desert Springs Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted to help pay for her daughter's education and upbringing.
