GRIEGO -- John-Mr. John Patrick Griego, 62, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 9, 2006. John is the beloved husband to Betty, (his Baby), married for 38 years. John is also survived by his loving children, Veronica Sena and husband, Alan, Ann Marie Lesley and husband, Stuard; one son, John Griego II and wife, Bernadette; his father, Placido Griego; two sisters, Bertha Neil and husband, Joe, Angela Roha and husband, Robert; seven brothers, Eddie Griego, George Griego, Michael Griego and wife, Shirley, Anthony Griego and wife, Irene, Greg Griego, Frank Griego, Danny Griego,and wife, Penny; a sister in law, Martha Griego; nine grandchildren, Danielle and Rebecca Quesada, Jocelynn Griego, Zachariah Little Mariah, J.P., Kevin Griego, R.J. Pena and Amanda Lucero; a son in his heart, Jeremy Griego; several sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends John was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Griego and a niece, Kristen Griego. John was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam Era, was in the 82nd Air Borne Division and a member of the V.F.W. and the Knights of Columbus and worked for the Untied Postal Service for 34 years. Visitation will be Sunday, August 13, 2006 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Ave. NE with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Army. Pallbearers will be, Alan Sena, Stuard Lesley, Zachariah Little, Frank Griego, Jeremy Griego and Phillip Castillo. Honorary pallbearers will be, Steve Malaney, Dave Armijo, Manuel Nicasio and Sammy Garcia. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors SW Dr. 243-7861
