HAPKE -- Charlene "Charlee" Hapke, 55, current resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Holdrege, NE, died Friday August 4, 2006. She is survived by her sons, Richard and Monty Holen; grandson, Cody Holen; mother, Adeline Ford; sisters, DeAnna Ross and Dixie Kautz; brother, Randy Ford; and her beloved lab, Ce-Ce. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Ford and her husband, Larry Hapke. Charlee worked for over 25 years for Peter Kiewit Sons (Twin Mountain Construction). She loved dogs, particularly Labrador Retrievers. Charlee was a giving person, she gave unconditionally to all. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be at French Mortuary, University Chapel, Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Charlee's family request donations made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
