MALDONADO -- Mary E. Maldonado, age 73, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was called to her eternal home by the Lord, Monday, August 7, 2006. Mary was born in Tajique, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estolano Maldonado; and a son, Ray Maldonado. Mary is survived by her loving children, Tony Maldonado and wife, Felisa, and Molly Griego and husband, Gerald; her precious grandchildren, Alyssa Stringer, Carlos, and Celina Maldonado; great-grandchildren, Lorenzo, Natalie, and Gavin; a brother, Epifano Barela and wife, Rose; and other beloved family members and friends. Mary will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Visitations will be this evening (Wednesday) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, where a Rosary for Mary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 9:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Paul Perea, Tony Maldonado, Eppi Barela, Raymond Otero, Bernie Otero, and Ismael Creamer.
