SANGUINETTI -- Clara Todesco Sanguinetti, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960 and presently residing at Acantilado Vista Retirement Home, passed away on July 23, 2006 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario J. Sanguinetti, who died September 14, 2003. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Sanguinetti is survived by two sons, Marco and his wife, Maria of New Bedford, MA and Christopher and his wife, Sheryl of Plano, TX; five grandsons, Marc and his wife, Catherine of Worcester, MA, James, Paul, Stephen, and Joel of New Bedford, MA; and a granddaughter, Heather of Plano, TX; and a great-grandson, Benjamin of New Bedford, MA. She is also survived by her best friends, Kim and Rick Berget and A. L. Roland of Albuquerque and Virginia Nassiff of Rio Rancho, NM. Born in San Francisco, CA on September 13, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Pierina Todesco, immigrants from Italy. Before her marriage to Mario, she worked as an executive secretary. She and her husband traveled extensively throughout the country and the world. They lived in various parts of the country before settling with their sons in Albuquerque. Mrs. Sanguinetti was a member of the Women's Club of Albuquerque and worked as a volunteer at the Albuquerque Museum of Natural History and the Maxwell Museum. She was an accomplished pianist, artist, and crafts person. She will be missed by her family, friends and especially by her new family at Acantilado Vista. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary - Westside Chapel Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. till Rosary. French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd.
