JOHNSTON -- Bradley Steven In Loving Memory of Bradley Steven Johnston Born on November 12th, 1960 in Roseburg, OR, passed away on July 5, 2006 at age 45, due to heart failure and surgical complications. Brad leaves behind Sandra Yarnell, whom he had moved to New Mexico with in 1997 from Eugene, OR. They eloped and where married in 2000 in Las Vegas, NV. In the 10 years they were together, they embraced life, love & laughter with each new day, never taking a moment for granted. Brad also leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Bill and Barbara Blalock of Grants Pass, OR. He leaves behind four daughters, Tanya Johnston of Springfield, OR, Tara Johnston, Tina Johnston and Cynthia Johnston of Eugene, OR; and two sons, Mikel and Bradley Jr. of Springfield/Eugene, OR area; as well as two step-children, Adrian Troy and Andrea Elizabeth Yarnell of Vancouver Washington/Portland, OR area. He had five grandchildren, Cody, Sierra, Elissa, Kaydence and Kyle and two more grandchildren yet to be born. He is also survived by two younger siblings, Bill Johnston of Salem, OR and Brenda Couron of Springfield, OR. He was preceded in death by his father, William David Johnston and younger brother, Bobby Johnston. Brad was a loving, kind and generous person. He was fun to be around and had a great sense of humor. He was an excellent listener and was always there for others in their time of need. He had many friends, relatives and co-workers who he loved spending time with. His hobbies included traveling, listening to country music and playing on his computer. Brad was a cook most of his life. He was dedicated to his profession. He worked in restaurants and the hospital industry. There will be a "Celebration of Life" for Brad on July 11th, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Chapel at Lovelace Westside Hospital. He will be greatly missed!!! In addition, a very special "thank you" as well as our sincerest appreciation to all of Brad's friends, management, CEO and administration at Westside Lovelace Hospital. They have been a God-send with all their love and support in this time of sorrow.
